Azadeh Zandi, Clinical and Health Psychologist

Clinical and Health Psychologist

I am a Clinical and Health Psychologist trained at Eötvös Loránd University. Committed to continuous professional development, I am currently pursuing a PhD at ELTE and  a member of the Behavioral Medicine and Research Credibility Lab.

My professional interests focus on the connection between mental and physical processes, and how our inner world shapes physical health. In my counselling work, I use methods such as autogenic training and suggestive communication to support balance, even during difficult times.

In my clinical practice, I incorporate cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), autogenic training, and art therapy techniques to meet each individual’s needs.

My work centres on supporting individuals with emotion regulation, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, chronic pain and illness, burnout, stress, trauma, early life experiences, family dynamics, and life transitions. I take an integrative approach to psychosomatic processes, aiming to bridge the connection between mind and body in therapy.

I provide sessions in English and Persian, supporting adults through emotional challenges, life transitions, and adjustment to new environments. With personal experience of immigration, I understand the complexities of adapting to life in a new environment.

In our work together, I aim not only to understand your challenges but also to strengthen your coping skills and support the development of inner balance and psychological flexibility. I am guided by a belief in everyone’s capacity for growth and change, and in the ongoing journey of deepening self-understanding and reconnecting with a meaningful, fulfilling life.

I offer my services in English and Persian.
